What has been your most memorable Annual Meeting and why?

The 2011 AUA meeting in Washington D.C. was very memorable, coming at the end of my fellowship where our team presented eight abstracts. We won best poster for our work in advanced kidney cancer.

If you weren't a urologist what would you be?

I would probably be a chemistry teacher and cross country coach. What would I do with all those summers off?!

What is one thing left on your Bucket List?

I'd like to see my children grow up to be healthy and happy.

If you could have lunch with one person, living or dead, who would it be?

I would like to meet Dwight D. Eisenhower, one of America's great generals and leaders. Eisenhower achieved many successes and also made some mistakes, but I think he would have a lot to share about building trust and leading organizations and teams.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a urology resident?

I learned early on from a mentor to focus on being the best urologist I could be (being excellent), and to care for and support my team (nurses, office staff, residents and colleagues).
